Public rules

Editorial, verification, and directory-order policy

The same factual and neutral rules apply to every listing.

Listing eligibility

A public page needs a stable business identity, primary category, real city inside the declared coverage, and at least one useful phone or Google Maps action. Blank-city records, out-of-coverage records, duplicates, and records without a useful action are excluded.

Verification

Verification confirms an owner's relationship and the accuracy of submitted public details. A Verified badge is not an endorsement, quality award, professional licence check, or guarantee that the business is currently open.

Directory order

Verified records may appear before incomplete public records. Completeness and business name determine the remaining neutral order. Payment for Google Profile Care or another SmartKey service does not change category position, links, or eligibility.

Descriptions and claims

Unverified listings receive no generated business description. Owner-supplied copy is reviewed for observable facts. Claims such as best, leading, award-winning, licensed, or locally owned require current evidence before publication.

Corrections and removal

Owners and authorized contacts may request corrections or removal through the verification and contact paths. Changes are reviewed before a static update. The directory keeps a private correction trail but does not publish the operational email used for the request.

Editorial guides

Guides use official or primary sources where possible and identify the date of the directory's own data. The directory does not turn scraped ratings into best-business rankings or reproduce third-party review text.
